Have you ever asked the question “why do bad things happen to good people?” Or (even more confusingly) “why do good things happen to bad people?” Often we just throw our hands up and say “life’s not fair!” However, this is an incorrect statement because life indeed is fair.
I am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may find myself. For I have learned that the greater part of our misery or unhappiness is determined not by our circumstance but by our disposition.
